I'm starting to art again, the past few weeks events left me a bit down, coupled with working three times as usual because of the Halloween rush D: Luckily things will die down after Monday! Then I'll have a week or so to crunch on outstanding commissions/swaps before Thanksgiving break!

Tonight Chris and I battened down and arted as soon as we put the kids to bed. I sketched/inked two ATC's, a small illustration, and finished some commissions(two character Ink and a one character sketch freebie. Lolporn :D)! Will probably get the coloring for all those done on Tuesday, my next day off after Halloween, which will be busy 8D

RIP Olive Montemagno

Our family member passed away of a stroke in my husband's arms on October 10th, 2011. She was an amazing creature and we will never forget her. She had eleven short months in our home, but we made sure they were the best.

So I had someone contact me on swap-bot about doing a private swap! I was looking for kawaii letter/sticker items, and she wanted some Skinnies! I had never heard of skinnies before, and as it turns out, they are basically an ATC, only bigger! Bigger meaning 3x5, so I can cram a LOT more detail into them!

But it turns out the BBW is just a bit softie ;D

Ohhhh Bobbbaay!

So you guys probably don't know this, but I really like Bob's Burgers. It's an animated Sitcom on Fox, that is less reality tv and more, well, sitcom. But anyways.

I joined up the Cartoon Sex ATC swap, and Chris suggested I do it Bob's Burgers themed. Chris is my muse, he gives me most of my ideas :B

So I did it!

It's Bob and his wife getting it on~ It's not my best, the style was surprisingly hard to emulate :( But I like it!

So as you guys know, I've been doing a lot of ATC swaps lately. I've been posting here and on my twitter fairly regularly as well. I've been getting a decent amount of views on here, too. But the best thing is, my friends have been seeing me stuff! A particular friend of mine, ImmortalPanda, is a fabulous artist AND a very popupony Custom MLP artist/designer wanted to do a trade with me, and who am I to say no? She's also one of my oldest friends, ha! We met waaaaaaay back* in the DeviantArt days when I trolled the forums :B And it's been love ever since!

But I'm just rambling so Hope has to read further before she can see the ATC ;D

This actually makes sense. Last time I drew her pony, she was farting. This is less offensive!

Wetting my toes

So you guys know I'm primarily an artist. I do the whole hand-drawn bs, right? Tonight, I ventured into crafting, and making an ATC that isn't drawn has given me a whole new respect for the people who do them all the time. These bitches are hard to compose, harder to cut right, and waiting for glue to dry for every layer is the most annoying part of all D:

But the ending result isn't -too- shabby!

Pre-cut ATC blank for the backing, followed by a pink floral mat stack for the background. Tree leaves are glitter cardstock, bark is patterned paper. Munchlax was cut out of a pokemon card. I broke my CutterBee trying to cut through the fucking card. A bit of sticky lace that I tattered to serve as grass, and accents with glitter gel pen. Ta-daa!

Well...maybe I'll make them from time to time. I did enjoy it, even though I trashed the office making it >.>

I've made myself into a busy little swapper! Hosting two swaps this month, Draw that Pokemon! and Ode to the Penis. Go me!

For the Draw that Pokemon swap, we drew two ATC's. The first was the recipients favorite Pokemon.

And the second one was one of the artist's favorites! Used a lot of embossing gel for the firey mane :B

This one's for the Robots, Dinosaurs, Zombies Oh my! Swap. I know the two weren't around at the same time, I was just going for humor :B Zombie Cavemen.

This one is for the Flowing Locks ATC swap. She's loosely based off the Adult Actress Skin Diamond, cause that woman is fucking gorgeous!

A digital swap for once!

I love love love digital swaps! I haven't done one since I hosted MSPaint my Kink last month, I really ought to host some more. Anyways, I joined The Draw me! Intl swap (which was also how I found out about www.crappyfreeportraits.com) and doodled mine up today as a refreshing break from the monotony of drawing all that lace in my last post. Anyone can email and ask for a doodle be drawn, and you can also become a regular artist on the site! I did a trial run, and it got posted a couple days ago here. As you can see, it was just a quick doodle. I think I spent 3-4 minutes total including crayoning some colors on. It was nice to just draw, without ridiculous expectations or even me worry about how well it will come out. I think I shall do more!

On the Dick ATC, I'm going to take some of my dog's shaved fur, and paste some pubes on! For the Anita Blake swap, I chose to draw Melanie the Lamia, Whom looks shockingly like a good friend of mine, at least in my head pants and drools

Finished up all my homework from Indyfurcon, now I just need to get it all shipped out @_@ Yay!

Yesterday, Tiberius/Jennifer came over yesterday! We've been friends since 2005-6, and reconnected at IFC this year, where we found out she only lived an hour away from us!

A lot of things happened yesterday, the most profound being that Olive finally had nose to nose interaction with another dog, and they both survived! Olive was a bit barky and stand-offish at first, but they turned out to be BFF's. As did, Jen, Chris and I :D!

Now as you see above, Jen's another artist. A fantastic artist, depressingly better than I am ;D So naturally I did a good bit of doodling yesterday.

Jen brought Mortal Combat so Chris broke out his joystick and it just got Gayer and Gayer from then on.

It was a fantastic day/evening! Poor Jen was subjected to us for about 12 hours, though to be fair, we did feed and water her. And she didn't piddle on the floor!

Hopefully, we'll set up another playdate soon!

I made it big at a con! Alternatively titled: MAKIN' IT RAIN >:U

So I did IndyFurCon mid-August. I made $1000* in sales. Three days, originals and on-spot commissions, only 6 take-home pieces.

I am fucking amazing!

Probably an ego boost I didn't need, lol.

But anyway.

That was me, pretty much the whole fucking weekend

Saw tons of friends I'd lost connections with, and made even more new ones! I collected a tiny crossdressing Asian and my Black son. All is well!

All in all, a fabulous con, and I'm dying to go to another one! Maybe FWA? Maybe AC next year? Or maybe a dinky anime con where I can sell a couple hundred and it'll be ok cause it'll be close to the house ;D

*And that $1000 was almost completely swallowed by making the house more livable ;.; In the last month, we were BURGLED(yay insurance), had to have the entire pipe system in the house replaced, washer flooded, manky dishwasher installed after Chris reworked pipes, and a bunch of other little shit adding up x-x So stressful I could pop an ovary.

Cutesy post!

Did a several night stint of drawing nothing but cute to hopefully sell at the upcoming con. Need to mat and possibly frame them.

A while back, at B&N, I found these little spiral bound 4x8 sketchbooks. Being left handed, most sketchbooks don't work out for me because of the binding, and spiral sketchbooks just aren't that popular. Which is why I almost exclusively work from loose leaf cardstock. But this sketchbook is a gem! The paper is thick, but blends copic much better than cardstock. Yum!

No art today, I'm too lazy to scan! Been working on a lot of things for the upcoming Convention, including several small scale originals. Last year I worked for months on 15-20 8.5x11 full color originals, and didn't sell a one. So a year later, better art and far better coloring, I'm working with 4x6 paper. Thinner than cardstock, so it blends copics much better!

Know that Cunt ATC I uploaded the other day? That same day, I also cut out 10-15 closeups of vaginas from porno magazines, to send along with the Sexy Kinky and Erotic ATC swap! I got fancy and even rounded the edges! The back of the Cunt ATC has one of them pasted to it, with the vag area blocked out with a censor bar.
